Encounter between the object and memory
Things aren't set forever. Nothing should be thrown away once and for all.
Objects carry memories.
I don't break them into parts. That way, I keep alive their identity, their past history. Deconstructed objects are seen under a different light and acquire a certain « glamour », they become sculptures, they become light, mobile.
They don't remain static, I give them another future-to-be.
A personal booklet follows each one in this new adventure.
Each piece is unique.
Current times, in which we question our lifestyles, give a certain echo to my work and to what I mean.
People are first surprised by this deconstruction and then see things differently.
